When you need a veterinarian to attend to a pet or livestock, but can’t make it to a surgery, call Calliope Mobile Vet. Operating throughout Calliope and the surrounding regions, we offer after-hours emergency care to ensure we are there for your animals through all predicaments.
Amongst the familiar surroundings of your property, we will tend to the medical and nutritional needs of your pets or livestock. As well as helping with household pets, we also attend to all equine requirements, including administering Hendra vaccinations.

DR LEAH MCLELLAN Director and Principal Veterinarian YOUR FRIENDLY VET Dr McLellan completed her veterinary degree at the James Cook University in 2010. She entered into a mixed practice in early 2011 at Chinchilla, working for Dr Sandi Jephcott at the Chinchilla Vet Clinic. This clinic was a very busy typical country mixed practice with all animals from cats to bulls and everything in between. In 2012 Leah made the move to Gladstone Region when a position became available at Brendonna Veterinary Clinic. She worked here for over 18mths when the owner of the clinic decided she would close and move south. It was then that Calliope Mobile Vet was started and has continued to grow with the support of local clients and their array of animals.
